Demand outstripping choice is leading to an opportunity for a lot of Homeowners.
The buyers are out there and making decisions quickly when they see the right home coming to the market. Property stock levels are down around 50% compared to recent times while the amount of buyers looking has stayed relatively the same.
Sales are consistent at the half way point in November and is as good as any time this year. There seems to have been no major peak or trough in sales this year unlike past years when some Summer months and Christmas would have a dip. Last year our office agreed 17 house sales in December! There is definitely the demand out there to do that again as long as new property comes to the market.
The thought that releasing a house for sale in the Spring is the optimum time, with flowers blooming and the weather warming. That may not be the case now with buyers looking to secure something as soon as possible with a move in the New Year.
